Terms of Use

Last updated 27 July 2026

These terms apply when you use the InFerric website. The most important one is the first: nothing here is medical advice, and the test is still in development.

Not medical advice

Everything on this website is for general information. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and it does not replace the judgement of a qualified clinician.

Never delay seeking medical care, or start or stop iron therapy or any other treatment, on the basis of something you read here. If you are anaemic or think you may be, speak to a healthcare professional.

Product status

The InFerric rapid diagnostic test is in development. It is not yet cleared or approved by any regulatory authority, and is not available for sale or for clinical use.

Hepcidin testing we currently arrange is carried out through partner laboratories. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim that the InFerric device is approved or commercially available.

Scientific claims

Statements about hepcidin, iron absorption, and anaemia reflect published science and our own understanding at the time of writing. Science moves. We may update or correct this content without notice.

Figures quoted on this site are drawn from published literature and are given as context, not as a guarantee of any result in any individual patient.

Using this site

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it
  • Submit false information or impersonate someone else
  • Send patient-identifiable health records through the contact form

Our content

The text, artwork, diagrams, and branding on this site belong to InFerric unless stated otherwise. You may read, quote, and link to it with attribution. You may not present it as your own or use our name or marks to imply a partnership that does not exist.

External links

We link to other organisations, including those supporting our work. We are not responsible for their content or their practices.

Liability

We publish this site in good faith and take care to keep it accurate, but we give no warranty that it is complete, current, or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on it.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product and the company develop. The date above shows when they last changed.
